Descend to Vila do Gerês before tackling the ascent toward the iconic Calcedónia peak, finishing at the local ethnographic museum. Suitable for road or MTB.

A demanding MTB loop from Casa Sulfato through the ancient Mata da Albergaria to Portela do Homem, climbing into Spain toward Minas das Sombras. After a rough final push, descend to Lobios for thermal baths, visit the Corga da Fecha waterfall, then return via Roman paths. Tough ride, stunning views.
