Hiking
The Peneda-Gerês National Park offers a wide range of hiking options-from easy, family – friendly walks to demanding, technical trails. Around Campo do Gerês, you’ll find several officially marked routes and unmarked paths that invite exploration through forests, rivers, and mountain landscapes.
Trail Running
The rugged trails around Campo do Gerês are a true playground for trail runners – so much so that organized races take place here every year, including routes that hosted the Trail Running World Championships in 2016. Endless paths and mountain challenges start right outside the village.
