Picota

The Picota Summit Trail begins at Casa Sulfato, climbing to one of the most breathtaking viewpoints over the Vilarinho da Furna reservoir and the Campo do Gerês valley. The unmarked ascent requires care and sturdy shoes, but rewards are immense. Avoid this trail in fog or bad weather, as visibility and footing can be challenging.
